Jewelry Domain (herein after JD) does not impose any serious restrictions on its members with respect to the usage of the network. JD believes in the trust relationship that it establishes with its members and expects the same from them. However the rules that are established are for the benefit of members. The rules framed are solely targeted for the good conduct of the members while using the network. These rules, if need be will be amended or overwritten in response to the suggestions from the members.
JD believes that professional courtesy will be maintained in the network and so has framed these five simple rules.
- Choose appropriate forums to post the messages.
JD has created the trading forums and discussion boards with its knowledge of what people really need in the industry. JD promises its members to add more appropriate forums as and when it finds necessary.
- Messages should not be repeated more than once in the same forums / boards.
Broadcasting messages will not be tolerated. This would actually cause disturbance in the network. Think of yourself getting hundreds of messages so called junk messages in your inbox. So please avoid repeating same messages.
- Messages meant for one another should not be posted on forums / boards.
JD Member Messages targeted to one another should be sent from under and as JD Member Messages (JDM’s). Such messages are not allowed to post on the trade forums or discussion boards for the reason whatsoever.
- Absolutely no profanity. It is prohibited on JD.
JD was built for the mutual benefit of the professionals in the jewelry industry. Please do not post profane content, text or images in any part of the network. This would actually create bad impression on you and your company.
- Image display capabilities are provided only for better display of the content visually.
JD does not tolerate the misuse of this feature. This feature may not be used to transmit images that are inappropriate and violation of trademark / copyright laws. Members are encouraged to provide feedback and by reporting to JD for any misbehavior on the network. JD remains the right to delete the messages that do not obey the above rules and may suspend the membership until further notice. |
